The Proprietor and Chief Surveyor of Alder Timber Preservation has fully qualified with the Institute of Wood Science:
- CRDS - Certificate for Remedial Damp Surveyors
- CRTS - Certificate for Remedial Treatment Surveyors
- BH&S - Basic Health & Safety 1995
- IRTS - The Institute of Remedial Timber Surveyors.
Alder Timber Preservation is a Limited Company. In addition to our own long term Guarantees, we offer additional security on the Guarantees by means of the PGA (Property Guarantee Administration Ltd). The PGA is a genuine and very beneficial underwritten insurance designed to protect the validity of long term guarantee within the building restoration industry. It covers the following categories:
- Structural waterproofing
- Rising damp treatment
- Timber treatment
- Replacement wall ties
This policy is also transferable to subsequent property owners.
Alder Timber Preservation carries the following insurance coverage:
- Employees liability
- Public/Products liability
- Product Guarantee
- Professional Indemnity.
All of the above are fully underwritten!
